The Guard-Mandown system uses personal data to function.
To provide a good balance between privacy and security we will explain how and why personal data is
used.
What is personal data?
Personal data is data that says something about you or can be related to you. In this case your name, phonenumber, and location data.
With what purpose is personal data saved?
Personal data is saved to properly inform the person or institution that will handle alarms in an alarm situation.
Data is also saved for support- purposes so the Guard-Mandown vendor can maintain and support the product.
Which personal data is saved?
From users of the Guard-Mandown App the username, phonenumber, and location data is saved.
From the users of the Guard-Mandown Dashboard the e-mail address is saved to provide access to the dashboard
as well as phonenumbers and optionally names of the people and institutions that will handle alarms.
Information about the App may be saved for use in the statistics provided to the Dashboard user.
Finally there are log files that log technical statuses and mutations.
Where does the personal data come from?
We receive all personal data either from you (the App) or your organisation that uses the Guard-Mandown Dashboard.
With whom is personal data shared?
Personal data will not be shared without prior authorization of the person(s) involved, unless this is necessary for
the operation of the Guard-Mandown alarm system or when we are required to provide this data by law or court order.
Who can mutate personal data?
Users with access to the Guard-Mandown dashboard can mutate personal data.
Beyond that there is optional functionality in the App that makes it possible for a Guard-Mandown App user to mutate his username and department.
For what period is personal data kept?
Personal data is kept as long as it is required to provide the
Guard-Mandown alarm service or as long as the contract with the organisation using Guard-Mandown lasts.
Technical log files are not deleted after a certain period.
